Four Men’s Soccer players named USCAA All-Americans, four earn All-Academic honors
PITTSBURGH --- Four Carlow University men’s soccer players earned United States Collegiate Athletic Association (USCAA) All-American honors, announced during the banquet in November.
PITTSBURGH --- Four Carlow University men's soccer players earned United States Collegiate Athletic Association (USCAA) All-American honors, announced during the banquet in November.
The Celtics also saw four student-athletes named to the All-Academic team.
Konner Sayre earned All-American First Team honors. Sayre started and played in 13 games for the Celtics this season, tallying one goal and one assist.
Kevin Garcia and Gavin Moore earned All-American Second Team honors. Garcia started and played in all 16 games in net for the Celtics, leading the USCAA and the team with 136 saves this season. Moore started and played in 15 games, leading the team with four goals and an assist this season for a team-high nine points.
Mason Kovach earned All-American Honorable Mention, playing an integral part of Carlow's back line in nine games this season.
To be named to the All-Academic team, student-athletes must be sophomores or above with at least a 3.5 overall GPA or higher.
