Hess named to AMCC All-Conference Second Team
LATROBE, Pa. --- For the third year in a row, Carlow University women’s volleyball outside hitter Rebecca Hess earned AMCC All-Conference honors, the league announced Nov. 18.
LATROBE, Pa. --- For the third year in a row, Carlow University women's volleyball outside hitter Rebecca Hess earned AMCC All-Conference honors, the league announced Nov. 18.
Hess, a senior from New Alexandria, Pa., was named to the All-Conference Second Team.
Last season, Hess earned All-Conference Third Team honors and was a 2023 All-Conference Second Team honoree.
She ranked third in the conference and led the team with an average 3.38 kills per set. Hess also led the Celtics and ranked fourth in the AMCC with 318 total kills. She ranked in the top 10 in digs, digs per set and service aces, and reached career milestones of 1,000 kills and 1,000 digs this season.
Mount Aloysius College senior outside hitter Molly Richards was named the AMCC Women's Volleyball Player of the Year for the second time in her career. Alfred State College freshman outside hitter Gloria Stem and Hilbert College freshman setter Lindsay Madigan were tabbed as AMCC Co-Newcomers of the Year. Coach of the Year honors went to Mount Aloysius head coach Brianna Baker. Baker led the Mounties to a 7-1 conference record and the program's first regular season title in program history.
