Women’s Basketball earns No. 8 seed in USCAA Small College National Basketball Championship
PITTSBURGH --- Carlow University women’s basketball earned the No. 8 seed in the USCAA National Championship tournament the league announced Sunday.

PITTSBURGH --- Carlow University women's basketball earned the No. 8 seed in the USCAA National Championship tournament the league announced Sunday.
The 2023 USCAA Small College National Basketball Championships take place March 12-16 in Richmond, Va., starting with the newly revamped skills competition and awards ceremonies which will be held simultaneously at the Virginia State University Multipurpose Center.
The last time the Celtics made it to the national championship tournament was the 2018-19 season.
Carlow ended the 2022-23 regular season 5-12 overall.
Heading into the tournament, Megan Ost is first in the nation averaging 1.7 blocks and second averaging 12.8 rebounds per game.
The Celtics face the Bryant & Stratton Buffalo Bobcats March 12, who earned the No. 1 seed in this year's tournament with a 21-3 record.
Fans can catch all the action live on the USCAA Sports Network. Single games are $8 and the national championship games are $10. For $25, fans can access every women's game of the tournament in both Division I and Division II, or for $40 purchase an all-access pass to view the entire 42-game tournament on both the men's and women's sides.
