BRADFORD, Pa. --- Carlow University men's soccer lost a 6-0 Allegheny Mountain Collegiate Conference contest to Pitt Bradford at Kessel Athletic Complex Saturday.
The Panthers (6-8-1, 2-4 AMCC) scored three goals in each half against the Celtics (2-10, 0-6 AMCC).
Kyle Carlsen landed Pitt Bradford's first goal in the 24th minute and assisted on the next two by Bailee Verdill at 32' and 38' to put the Panthers ahead 3-0 heading into halftime.
Yihao Xu scored a brace in the second half with goals at 52' and 59', and Brady Hillman tallied Pitt Bradford's final goal in the 69th minute.
Devan Donskoy (Jamison, Pa./Central Bucks HS East) placed two shots on goal, and John Rummel (Price, Utah/Utah State Univ. Eastern) made five saves in the complete game effort in net.
The Panthers outshot the Celtics 19-9 (11-3 on goal) and held a 6-1 corner kick advantage.
Carlow hosts Penn State Altoona for a 2 p.m. AMCC match at Highmark Stadium Oct. 22.
