HAMBURG, N.Y. --- Carlow University men’s soccer lost a 3-0 Allegheny Mountain Collegiate Conference contest to Hilbert College on the road Saturday.

HAMBURG, N.Y. --- Carlow University men's soccer lost a 3-0 Allegheny Mountain Collegiate Conference contest to Hilbert College on the road Saturday.

Eric Fowler (Torrington, Conn./Wamogo Regional HS) attempted all three of Carlow's shots on goal but could not get any to land, and John Rummel (Price, Utah/Utah State Univ. Eastern) suffered the loss in net after making four saves in the complete game effort.

The Celtics (1-7, 0-3 AMCC) afforded the Hawks just one goal in the 20^th minute, holding Hilbert scoreless for 46 minutes until well into the second half.

Hilbert landed its second goal at 66' and scored the final goal at 78'.

The Hawks (4-3-1, 1-1 AMCC) outshot the Celtics 23-10 (7-3 on goal) and held a 10-1 corner kick advantage.

Carlow hosts Pitt Greensburg for an 11 a.m. AMCC match Oct. 8.
