Two Women’s Cross Country runners named USCAA All-Americans, five earn All-Academic honors
LEMONT FURNACE, Pa. --- Two Carlow University women's cross country runners earned USCAA All-American honors and five were named to the All-Academic Team, the association announced Nov. 8.
LEMONT FURNACE, Pa. --- Two Carlow University women's cross country runners earned USCAA All-American honors and five were named to the All-Academic Team, the association announced Nov. 8.
Senior Laci Schwirian (Elizabeth, Pa./Elizabeth Forward HS) earned First Team All-American honors with a seventh-place finish of 26:24.80 at the USCAA Championship Nov. 8.
Senior Ella Cloak (New Cumberland, Pa./Trinity HS) earned Second Team All-American honors after racing to a 13th place finish out of 60 runners on the day with a time of 26:54.70.
The USCAA also announced its All-Academic team awards. To be eligible for the All-Academic Team, student-athletes must be sophomores or above with a 3.50 cumulative grade point average or higher.
