PITTSBURGH --- Carlow University junior Rebecca Hess earned her second USCAA Women's Volleyball Specialist of the Week honor, the association announced Tuesday.
Hess, an outside hitter from New Alexandria, Pa./Greensburg Central Catholic, earned the award for the second week in a row, despite Carlow going 0-2 on the week.
Hess led the Celtics with 27 digs and 19 kills, adding five blocks and three service aces in a 3-0 loss to Grove City Sept. 24 and a 3-1 loss to St. Vincent Sept. 27.
Carlow travels to a tri-match at the University of Mount Union Oct. 5.
