Women’s Track & Field tunes up for USCAA Championship at Baldwin Wallace

BEREA, Ohio --- Carlow University women's track & field competed at the Baldwin Wallace University 56^th Annual Sparky Adams Invitational Saturday.

The Celtics squared off against 18 other colleges and universities.

Mackenna Rankin (New Bethlehem, Pa./Redbank Valley HS) scored the second best time in school record books for steeplechase (15:21.10 set by Amanda Espy on April 13, 2019) with a sixth place finish of 15:27.91.

Sydney Taylor (Castle Shannon, Pa./Keystone Oaks HS) placed sixth in long jump with a distance of 5.13 meters, and Ashley Ealy (West Alexander, Pa./McGuffey HS) threw a personal best 8.92 meters in shot put.

The Celtics compete at the USCAA National Championship at Indiana University of Pennsylvania April 24-25.
