Taylor leads Women’s Track & Field at Westminster Invitational

Sydney Taylor (Castle Shannon, Pa./Keystone Oaks HS) led the Celtics with a first place, personal best leap of 11.32 meters in triple jump. It is the second best distance in the Carlow record books behind Olivia Miller (11.60 meters on April 5, 2023). Taylor also leapt a personal best 5.18 meters in long jump for the seventh best distance in the record book.
Ashley Ealy (West Alexander, Pa./McGuffey HS) now holds the eighth best score in the record books after a personal best throw of 28.60 meters in discus.
Mackenna Rankin (New Bethlehem, Pa./Redbank Valley HS) broke into the top-20 with a time of 23:25.73 to place 18th in the 5,000.
The Celtics travel to Baldwin Wallace University for a meet April 17.
