Women’s Track & Field opens outdoor season at Muskingum
NEW CONCORD, Ohio --- Carlow University women’s track & field opened the outdoor season at the Muskingum University Amy Adams Memorial Invitational Saturday.

The Celtics competed against seven other teams on the day with seven top-10 finishes and several personal bests.
Julia Ogrodowski (Fredericktown, Pa./Bethlehem Center HS) placed second in javelin with a throw of 21.17 meters. She also threw a personal best 9.97 meters to place eighth in shot put.
Sydney Taylor (Castle Shannon, Pa./Keystone Oaks HS) landed a 10.75-meter leap in triple jump to place third and placed fourth in long jump with a distance of 4.85 meters.
Ashley Ealy (West Alexander, Pa./McGuffey HS) scored personal best throws in shot put and discus, placing ninth and 11th with distances of 8.87 and 26.67 meters, respectively.
Ella Cloak (New Cumberland, Pa./Trinity HS) placed eighth in the 400 with a time of 1:06.44, and Laci Schwirian (Elizabeth, Pa./Elizabeth Forward HS) finished 10th in the 1500 with a time of 5:54.51.
The Celtics compete at the Slippery Rock Dave Labor Invitational April 3.
