Five Women’s Track & Field athletes named USCAA All-Americans, eight listed on All-Academic Team
SPRINGFIELD, Mass. --- Five Carlow University women’s track & field athletes earned United States Collegiate Athletic Association All-American honors and eight were named to the All-Academic Team, the association announced April 28.
SPRINGFIELD, Mass. --- Five Carlow University women's track & field athletes earned United States Collegiate Athletic Association All-American honors and eight were named to the All-Academic Team, the association announced April 28.
Molly Wagner (Pleasant Hills, Pa./Thomas Jefferson HS) earned First Team All-American honors in the 400, 4x100 relay and 4x400 relay after placing first in those events. She earned Second and Third Team honors in the 200 and 100, respectively.
Sydney Taylor (Castle Shannon, Pa./Keystone Oaks HS) earned First Team honors in triple jump and as part of both first-place relay teams and earned Second Team honors in long jump.
Trista Miller (Canonsburg, Pa./Canon-McMillan HS) and Ella Cloak (New Cumberland, Pa./Trinity HS) earned First Team honors as a member of both relay teams, and Mya Waage (Trinity, Fla./J. W. Mitchell HS) earned Third Team honors in discus.
Seven Celtics earned USCAA All-Academic honors, bestowed upon student-athletes who are sophomores or above with a 3.50 cumulative grade point average or higher.
