Wagner and Taylor claim two USCAA Athlete of the Week awards

PITTSBURGH --- Carlow University women's track & field picked up two United States Collegiate Athletic Association Athlete of the Week honors, the association announced Tuesday.
Molly Wagner and Sydney Taylor earned Runner and Jumper of the Week, respectively.
Wagner, a graduate student from Pleasant Hills, Pa., was part of both the 4x100 and 4x400 relay teams that garnered first place at the USCAA National Championship April 26.
She placed first, second and third in the 400, 200 and 100, respectively to help Carlow to a third-place team finish.
Taylor, a sophomore from Castle Shannon, Pa., placed first in triple jump with a leap of 10.47 meters and landed a personal best 4.89 meters in long jump to place second in the event at the USCAA National Championship. She was also part of the first place 4x100 and 4x400 relay teams.
The Celtics travel to Washington, D.C. for the United East Outdoor Championship May 3-4.
