Women’s Track & Field brings home three medals from United East Indoor Championship
LANDOVER, Md. --- Carlow University women’s track & field scored three podiums at the United East Conference Indoor Championship at Prince George's Sports & Learning Complex Friday.

Sydney Taylor (Castle Shannon, Pa./Keystone Oaks HS) leapt a personal best 10.77 meters in triple jump to land a gold medal in the event. Taylor earned silver in long jump with a distance of 4.83 meters.

Ella Cloak (New Cumberland, Pa./Trinity HS) earned bronze in the 800 with a 2:43.00 finish and scored a top-10 time of 1:08.76 in the 400.
Mackenna Rankin (New Bethlehem, Pa./Redbank Valley HS) ran a personal best 22:16.80 to place sixth in the 5,000, and Laci Schwirian (Elizabeth, Pa./Elizabeth Forward HS) earned top-10 finishes in the mile and the 5,000.
Ashley Ealy (West Alexander, Pa./McGuffey HS) rounded out top-10 scores for the Celtics with a ninth place throw of 8.90 meters in shot put.
St. Mary's College of Maryland earned their second straight team title, led by Lacy Shleig and Savannah Owens who earned Rookie of the Year and Track Athlete of the Year honors, respectively.
Lancaster Bible College's Elly Bruner earned Field Athlete of the Year.
