GREENSBURG, Pa. --- Carlow University women's tennis lost a 5-2 Allegheny Mountain Collegiate Conference contest to Pitt Greensburg on the road Saturday.

Reagan Redford (Canonsburg, Pa./Canon McMillan HS) and Leah Hartman (Bethel Park, Pa./Bethel Park HS) led the Celtics with wins in the No. 3 doubles spot and in both of their singles matches.

In the No. 3 doubles spot, the pair swept the Bobcats, 6-0. Redford defeated her opponent in No. 5 singles, 6-2, 6-2, and Hartman won a tie-break set in the No. 6 singles spot with scores of 1-6, 6-2 and 10-8.

Elle Duda (Bethel Park, Pa./Bethel Park HS) and Julia Piatt (Pittsburgh, Pa./Keystone Oaks HS) each took their singles games to tiebreak sets but were narrowly defeated.

The Celtics face La Roche University for a 6:30 p.m. AMCC match at Lakevue Athletic Club Oct. 3.
