MEADVILLE, Pa. --- Carlow University women's soccer lost a 6-0 contest to Allegheny College on the road Saturday.
Goalkeeper Elizabeth Knight (Pittsburgh, Pa./Baldwin HS) made 20 saves in the complete game effort, as the Gators (1-5-2) outshot the Celtics 46-2 on the day.
Allegheny scored three goals in both the first and second half, led by Katherine Surdykowski and Savannah Wilde with two goals apiece.
The Gators held a 12-0 corner kick advantage in the match.
Carlow opens home and Allegheny Mountain Collegiate Conference action with a 5 p.m. game against Alfred State College at Cupples Stadium Sept. 27.
