Women’s Soccer tabbed eighth in AMCC Preseason Coaches’ Poll

The Celtics ended the 2024 campaign 3-14-1 overall and 2-6 in conference action, finishing seventh in the regular season standings.
Eighth year Head Coach Allen Duda selected graduate forward Jenna McGuinness (North Huntington, Pa./Norwin HS/Seton Hill Univ.) as the player to watch this season.
Last year, McGuinness was an AMCC Third Team All-Conference selection who led the team and ranked eighth in the conference with seven goals. She was a USCAA First Team All-American and was named to the 2024 College Sports Communicators Academic All-District® team.
The league selected Penn State Behrend first in the preseason poll after the team earned back-to-back titles in 2023 and 2024. Pitt Greensburg ranked second, and Penn State Altoona rounded out the top three in the preseason poll.
The AMCC tabbed Pitt-Greensburg sophomore midfielder/forward Riley Gesinski as the Preseason Offensive Player of the Year, and Penn State Behrend senior goalkeeper Riley Morningstar as the Preseason Defensive Player of the Year.
