Women’s Golf concludes fall season at Colonial Women’s Golf Conference Championship

Maci Lorigan (Kittanning, Pa./Armstrong HS) and Jena Norman (McCandless, Pa./North Allegheny Senior HS) represented the Celtics in the two-day tournament Monday and Tuesday.
The athletes faced windy and cold conditions on the challenging course. Lorigan scored better in the first round with two birdies and three par to card a 91, ending the championship with a 193.
Norman shot 13 strokes better through the second round and ended the tournament with a two-day score of 217.
Babson College was named the first team champion, led by Vanya Bansal who posted a two-day score of 156 to place first individually. Babson golfers claimed the top four spots in the tournament.
