Women’s Golf competes against Seton Hill on Senior Day
PITTSBURGH --- Carlow University women’s golf celebrated Senior Day with a dual against Seton Hill University at 3 Lakes Golf Club Saturday afternoon.

The Griffins defeated the Celtics 350-403, although both teams battled the tough course with an average score of 96 between all 10 golfers.
Maci Lorigan (Kittanning, Pa./Armstrong HS) led Carlow with a 96 after sinking three par on the back nine, including a nice chip shot up over a hill and into the hole on 11.
Ava Grew (Irwin, Pa./Hempfield Area HS) landed four par for a 98, and Lilli Hope (North Huntington, Pa./Norwin HS) tallied three par and birdied hole four to card a 99. Jena Norman (McCandless, Pa./North Allegheny Senior HS) rounded out scoring for the Celtics with a 110.
Ali Boyle sank nine par and birdied two holes to lead Seton Hill and all the golfers on the day with an 81. Two other Griffins scored below 90 to help Seton Hill to a first place team finish.
Up next for the Celtics is the USCAA Championship Oct. 12-14 at the Penn State Blue Course.
