Hope scores second place at AMCC Fall Invitational

CRESSON, Pa. --- Carlow University women's golfer Lilli Hope placed second overall at the Allegheny Mountain Collegiate Conference Fall Invitational Saturday.

Hope (North Huntington, Pa./Norwin HS) hit five pars for a 90 on the day, tying Mount Aloysius College's Chloe Fritch at the end of the round. Both golfers competed in a one hole shootout, with Hope coming in second behind Fritch.

Jena Norman (McCandless, Pa./North Allegheny Senior HS) landed two par and tied for fourth overall with a 99, while Maci Lorigan (Kittanning, Pa./Armstrong HS) birdied on four and hit three pars for a 101 to place sixth.

Host team Mount Aloysius captured the team title with a score of 416 at the 5,622-yard Summit Country Club.
