Hope named AMCC Women’s Golfer of the Week

LATROBE, Pa. --- Carlow University women's golfer Lilli Hope earned Allegheny Mountain Collegiate Conference Golfer of the Week honors, the league announced Wednesday.

Hope (North Huntington, Pa./Norwin HS) shot the best round of her collegiate career to lead the Celtics with an 84 at the Susquehanna University Invitational Sept. 13. She hit three pars on the day and sank two birdies on the back nine to tie for 20^th out of 74 golfers in the tournament.

The Celtics host Waynesburg for a dual at Youghiogheny Country Club Saturday.
