Lorigan named USCAA Women’s Golfer of the Week

PITTSBURGH --- Carlow University senior Maci Lorigan earned USCAA Women's Golfer of the Week honors, the association announced Tuesday.

Lorigan (Kittanning, Pa./Armstrong HS) led the Celtics with a 94 in the first round of the Sinking Valley Collegiate Classic Sunday. She also led the Celtics on the second day of the tournament with an 89, improving her first day score by five strokes behind seven pars. She tied for seventh out of 27 golfers in the two-day event.

The Celtics travel to the Susquehanna Invitational for a 1 p.m. tee time Sept. 13.
