Egley, Wiggs earn College Sports Communicators Academic All-District
GREENWOOD, Ind. --- Carlow University softball players Mackenzie Egley and Tatum Wiggs were named to the 2025-26 College Sports Communicators Academic All-District® team, the association announced May 26.

GREENWOOD, Ind. --- Carlow University softball players Mackenzie Egley and Tatum Wiggs were named to the 2025-26 College Sports Communicators Academic All-District® team, the association announced May 26.
To be eligible, student-athletes must be sophomores or above with at least a 3.50 cumulative GPA (on a 4.00 scale) or higher. Additionally, student-athletes must compete in 90 percent of the institution's games played or must start in at least 66 percent of the games. For pitchers, a student-athlete must have made at least 17 appearances or pitched 35 innings. Nominations were limited to five from each institution.
The 2025-26 Academic All-District® Softball teams, selected by College Sports Communicators, recognize the nation's top student-athletes for their combined performances on the field and in the classroom. The CSC Academic All-America® program separately recognizes softball honorees in four divisions – NCAA Division I, NCAA Division II, NCAA Division III and NAIA.
Founded in the mid-1950s, the highly regarded Academic All-America® selected by College Sports Communicators program is unquestionably regarded as the premier awards program in intercollegiate athletics for honoring combined academic and athletic excellence.
