Nedley earns USCAA Softball Player of the Week

PITTSBURGH --- Carlow University senior Morgan Nedley earned USCAA Softball Player of the Week honors, the association announced Tuesday.

In six games last week, Nedley hit 13 for 19 with four doubles, a home run and 10 RBI. She went 7 for 7 with seven RBI in a doubleheader against Brescia (Ky.) University April 21.

Nedley had a .648 average and 1.053 slugging percentage.

The Celtics went 3-3 on the week against River States Conference opponents.

Carlow returns to conference action with a doubleheader at WVU Tech April 28.
