Men’s Cross Country places fourth at Pitt Greensburg Fall Classic

Quincy Faña (Glenshaw, Pa./Shaler Area HS) led the Celtics with a time of 39:47.8 in the 8k race, and Aleel Batts (Middletown, Pa./Middletown Area HS) was right on his heels with a 40:15.3 finish. DeJuan Allen (Atlanta, Ga./Marietta HS), Cristian Contreras (Frederick, Md./Governor Thomas Johnson HS) and Ryan Marini (West Mifflin, Pa./Seton LaSalle Catholic HS) all contributed to Carlow's team score on the day.
Christendom College's Alexander Girata took home first place with a time of 30:51.8, and Potomac State College captured the team title with five top 10 finishes.
The Celtics travel to Mount Aloysius College for the Mountie Invitational Oct. 11.
