Men's Cross Country races Asbury Invitational
WILMORE, Ky. --- Carlow University men's cross country raced the Asbury (Ky.) University Chick-fil-A Invitational Saturday.
WILMORE, Ky. --- Carlow University men's cross country raced the Asbury (Ky.) University Chick-fil-A Invitational Saturday. The Celtics did not score as a team since only four runners competed in the 8,000-meter race, and five are required to score as a team.
Cameron Short led the four Carlow runners with a personal best time of 33:17.9, landing him in 54th place.
Kevin Sheehan was next for the Celtics with a time of 34:03.4, and Joseph Palmieri and Evan Antes followed in 34:51.4 and 35:37.6 respectively.
Sixty-five athletes from nine different schools ran the race, with Lindsey Wilson (Ky.) University taking home first place as a team. Lindsey Wilson's Levi Owens snagged the individual title. His time of 26:34.6 landed him in first place, with the team averaging 27:41 on the day.
