Men’s Track & Field competes at Amy Adams Memorial Invitational
NEW CONCORD, Ohio --- Carlow University men’s track & field opened the outdoor season at the Muskingum University Amy Adams Memorial Invitational Saturday.
NEW CONCORD, Ohio --- Carlow University men's track & field opened the outdoor season at the Muskingum University Amy Adams Memorial Invitational Saturday.
The Celtics competed against seven other teams on the day with four top-10 finishes, a school record and a personal best.
Caleb Rogers (Clark, Pa./Sharpsville Area HS) broke his own school record in shot put with a throw of 12.99 meters to place eighth in the event, and Ryan Hileman (Irwin, Pa./Norwin HS) placed third in the 400-meter hurdles with a personal best time of 1:04.02. Hileman also placed 10th in long jump with a distance of 5.25 meters.
Anthony Lewis (Williamsport, Pa./Loyalsock Township Senior HS) placed seventh in long jump with a leap of 5.82 meters, which placed him sixth best in the Carlow record books.
The Celtics compete at the Slippery Rock Dave Labor Invitational April 3.
