Men’s Track & Field earns five top-10 finishes at United East Conference Championship
WASHINGTON, D.C. --- Carlow University men’s track & field placed seventh at the United East Conference Championship, hosted by Gallaudet University May 3-4.

Mel Cobbler (Silver Spring, Md./Albert Einstein HS/Morgan State University) led the Celtics with a second place finish in the 110-meter hurdles and now holds the top five times in the event in the Carlow record books.
Cobbler and Ryan Hileman (Irwin, Pa./Norwin HS) recorded top-10 times in the 400-meter hurdles, placing fourth and seventh, respectively, and Hileman placed eighth in the 110-meter hurdles.
Caleb Rogers (Clark, Pa./Sharpsville Area HS) secured an eighth-place finish in shot put with the second best school record distance just behind his record setting USCAA performance last weekend. He also placed 12th in discus.
Penn State Harrisburg earned the team title with 234 points.
