Cobbler earns second United East Track Athlete of the Week award

LATHAM, N.Y. --- Carlow University men’s track athlete Mel Cobbler earned his second United East Conference Athlete of the Week honor, the league announced Tuesday.

LATHAM, N.Y. --- Carlow University men's track athlete Mel Cobbler earned his second United East Conference Athlete of the Week honor, the league announced Tuesday.

Cobbler raced to third place in the 110-meter hurdles with a school record time of 16.17 at the USCAA National Championship April 26. He placed second in the 400-meter hurdles with the second-best time in school history of 1:00.34.

The Celtics travel to Washington, D.C. for the United East Outdoor Championship May 3-4.
