Men’s Tennis falls to Waynesburg in doubleheader
WAYNESBURG, Pa. --- Carlow University men’s tennis lost a doubleheader to Waynesburg University at Bechtle Family Tennis Facility Tuesday afternoon.

WAYNESBURG, Pa. --- Carlow University men's tennis lost a doubleheader to Waynesburg University at Bechtle Family Tennis Facility Tuesday afternoon.
Game 1: L, 7-0
The Yellow Jackets swept the Celtics in the first match of the day. Carlow kept it close in the doubles matches, with Lucas Cuneo (Wellsboro, Pa./Wellsboro HS) and Gavin Moyer (Dillsburg, Pa./Northern York HS) falling 7-5 at No. 1 doubles. Every single Celtic won at least one game in the singles matches as well.
Game 2: L, 5-2
Carlow fared better in the second match, but Waynesburg was victorious. Once again, Cuneo and Moyer took it down to the wire at No. 1 doubles and were narrowly defeated, 7-6.
Eric Fowler (Torrington, Conn./Wamogo Regional HS) won 5-7, 6-1, 10-3 at No. 5 singles, and James Stone (Aliquippa, Pa./Hopewell HS) won 6-3, 6-3 at No. 6 singles to score Carlow's two points.
The Celtics travel to Penn State Behrend for an AMCC match April 10.
