Sherstnyov named to USCAA All-American Second Team, five earn All-Academic honors
PITTSBURGH --- Carlow University men’s soccer defender Andrew Sherstnyov earned USCAA All-American Second Team honors and five were named to the All-Academic Team, the association announced Nov. 13.
PITTSBURGH --- Carlow University men's soccer defender Andrew Sherstnyov earned USCAA All-American Second Team honors and five were named to the All-Academic Team, the association announced Nov. 13.
Sherstnyov, a first year athlete from Warrington, Pa., started in every game for the Celtics and made dozens of clutch plays on defense throughout the season.
To be eligible for the All-Academic Team, student-athletes must be sophomores or above with a 3.50 cumulative grade point average or higher.
