Men’s Soccer slips in second half against Penn State Altoona
ALTOONA, Pa. --- Carlow University men’s soccer held Penn State Altoona scoreless for over 54 minutes, but ultimately fell, 2-1, in an Allegheny Mountain Collegiate Conference match on the road Wednesday.

ALTOONA, Pa. --- Carlow University men's soccer held Penn State Altoona scoreless for over 54 minutes, but ultimately fell, 2-1, in an Allegheny Mountain Collegiate Conference match on the road Wednesday.
The Celtics (3-11, 0-6 AMCC) struck first with an unassisted goal by Hunter Brady (Wrightsville, Pa./Eastern York HS) – his fourth of the season – in the 28th minute.
Alex Remington (Bethel Park, Pa./Bethel Park HS) and the Carlow defense took the team into halftime with a 1-0 lead.
The Lions (2-9, 1-5 AMCC) returned from intermission to outshoot the Celtics, 15-0, and landed the game-tying goal in the 54th minute.
Altoona struck the game-winner in the 78th minute when Matias Harte connected with Andrew Ream.
The Lions held a 7-1 corner kick advantage, and Zac Kolich (Enon Valley, Pa./Blackhawk HS/Pittsburgh Technical College) suffered the loss after making three saves in the second half.
The Celtics travel to Penn State Behrend for a 1 p.m. match Oct. 26.
