Sudesh Tiwari tallied all three of Carlow's shots and shots on goal for the day, and Kevin Garcia made seven stops in the complete game effort.
The Pomeroys (3-3, 3-2 RSC) scored back-to-back goals in the 25th minute and added a third goal at 27'. Hamza Zagmouzi scored SMWC's final goal of the first half at 35' to take a 4-0 lead into halftime.
Zagmouzi opened second half scoring for the Pomeroys with a goal at 49', and once again SMWC scored back-to-back goals in the 80th minute. The final goal of the game was Andy Bonilla's second of the day at 88'.
The Pomeroys out-shot Carlow, 24-3 (15-3 on goal) and held a 3-1 corner kick advantage.
The Celtics (2-10-1, 1-4 RSC) travel to Brescia (Ky.) University Saturday, Oct. 15 for a 1 p.m. game.
