Men’s Golf improves during second round of AMCC Championship

STATE COLLEGE, Pa. --- Every single Carlow University men's golfer improved on their first round scores for an eighth place team finish at the Allegheny Mountain Collegiate Conference Championship Tuesday.
The Celtics improved their first day score by 21 strokes, led by Christian Rotundo (Thorold, Ontario, Canada/Denis Morris Catholic Secondary School) who carded a 77 to place ninth overall out of 40 golfers in the tournament. Rotundo made 12 par and birdied hole 13 on the day.
Logan Connelly (North Huntington, Pa./Norwin HS) improved his first round score by three strokes with a 96, and Noah Marshall (Upper Black Eddy, Pa./Palisades HS) made the biggest leap, shaving off nine strokes for a 97 on the 6,888-yard course.
Mount Aloysius College took home the AMCC Championship with a two-day team score of 613. The Mounties' Josh Nicholl shot even par today to place first overall individually.
