Men’s Golf competes at Golden Eagle Invitational

The Celtics faced warmer than average temperatures and blazing sun on the 6,324-yard course.
Logan Smith (Ligonier, Pa./Ligonier Valley HS) led Carlow with an 89 to place 20th of 43 golfers on the day. He landed five par on the course.
Christian Rotundo (Thorold, Ontario, Canada/Denis Morris Catholic Secondary School) sank two birdies on the back nine and recorded three par to card a 95.
Logan Connelly (North Huntington, Pa./Norwin HS) hit three par for a 96, and Lukas Contrael (Kittanning, Pa./Armstrong HS) also tallied three par to round out scoring for the Celtics with a 98.
The Bethany (W.Va.) College "B" team took home the team title with a score of 307, and Jude Smith led the way with a 68.
The Celtics host Waynesburg University for a 1 p.m. tee time at Youghiogheny Country Club tomorrow.
