Men's Golf loses close contest to Geneva College

MCKEESPORT, Pa. --- Carlow University men's golf narrowly lost a dual against Geneva College Saturday at Youghiogheny Country Club.

The Golden Tornadoes just eked out a win over the Celtics, 331-333.

Geneva's Austin Goehring led the field with a 78, but senior Jake Stariha was right on his heels with a 79.

Christian Rotundo and Joshua Hido tied for third with a score of 83 apiece, and Ryley Stephenson shot an 85 to come in sixth.

Logan Smith rounded out scoring for the Celtics with an 86, and Dylan Donovan shot 90 on the day.

Carlow travels to the University of Pikeville Tournament Sept. 24-25 in Prestonburg, Ky.
