Giannetta nets AMCC All-Conference Third Team honors

LATORBE, Pa. --- Carlow University men's basketball junior Jimmy Giannetta was named an Allegheny Mountain Collegiate Conference Third Team selection, the league announced Tuesday.
Giannetta, a guard from Pittsburgh, Pa., led the Celtics and ranked eighth in the AMCC with an average 16 points per game. He ranked fourth in the AMCC and led the team with an 81.6 free throw percentage and led the team and ranked 12th in the conference with an average 2.4 assists per game.
His 35-point performance in a 77-75 win against Mount Aloysius ranked among the top single-game scoring in the Carlow record books. Giannetta is just 290 points shy of 1,000 career points after a stellar 400-point season this year.
