LATROBE, Pa. --- Carlow University guard Jimmy Giannetta earned Allegheny Mountain Collegiate Conference Men's Basketball Player of the Week, the league announced Monday.
Giannetta, a junior from Pittsburgh, Pa., scored a game- and career-high 30 points in an 80-70 loss to Waynesburg University Dec. 20. He recorded 20 of Carlow's 33 points in the second half alone and tallied five assists and three steals in the effort.
The Celtics return to action with a 4 p.m. AMCC game at Alfred State College Jan. 7.
