Men’s Basketball ranked 10th in AMCC Coaches’ Preseason Poll

The Celtics concluded their final season in the NAIA 1-27 overall last year, averaging 55.3 points and 36.2 rebounds per game.
Carlow shot 33.4 percent from the field, 24.6 percent from beyond the arc and 63.3 percent from the foul line last season.
The Celtics return almost all their starters, including Riley Comforti who is back from an injury and led the team last year with 13.1 points and 6.4 rebounds per game, despite having only played 16 games.
Returning for his 10th season, Head Coach Tim Keefer also listed Nehemiah Brazil and Byron Gaskins as players to watch this year.

AMCC coaches expect Penn State Altoona to win the school's first conference title this year. Defending champion La Roche University is expected to finish in second place, with Penn State Behrend rounding out the top three.
Hilbert College junior guard Quran Briggs was named the AMCC Preseason Player of the Year. Briggs was an AMCC all-conference first team selection in 2022-23 and was named to the 2023 AMCC All-Tournament Team.
