2026-27 Competition & Spirit Cheer Team Recruitment
Carlow Cheerleading received its first bid to the 2026 NCA Cheer Nationals in Daytona! The current team is working hard to prepare, but we're already in the process of building a dedicated team for the 2026-2027 season.
Carlow Cheerleading is currently recruiting strong and experienced cheerleaders to help us build a dedicated team for the 2026-2027 season. We will offer two opportunities to cheer for Carlow University: a competition team and a spirit team.
The competition squad will focus on the competitive and sport aspect of cheerleading by attending local cheer competitions in the fall and winter before hitting the big event of NCA Cheer & Dance College Nationals in Daytona, Fla. The competition team will also have some spirit and campus engagement requirements.
The spirit squad will require less experience and focus on cheering on the Celtics at select men's and women's home soccer games, all men's and women's home basketball games, occasional volleyball games, as well as participating in select campus engagement events.
