John Brown
Head Coach
Coach Brown begins his 14th season as basketball head coach at Carlow, and he’s very optimistic about the 2008-09 Celtics! Prior to Carlow, Brown spent 12 years on the coaching staff of St. Francis Academy (five as head coach) and led them to three Class A WPIAL Championships. He also coached at McGuffey High School for four years and currently directs the Steal City Club, a girls’ basketball association. In addition, Coach Brown heads the Pennsylvania team at the Kamehameha Tournament in Hawaii and teaches social studies at McGuffey High School. Brown and his wife, Barbara, live in the Brentwood area of Pittsburgh. |

Lee Ann, a former stand-out guard for the Celtics, graduated from Carlow in 2007. Her intangible contributions to the Celtics and her exceptional scholarly work in the classroom earned her the 2006-07 Carlow Celtic Student Athlete Award! She served as Carlow’s Sports Information Coordinator during the 2007-08 school year, and she . As she rejoins the basketball team in a new role, Lee Anne looks to contribute to her favorite team in a way she never has before! |

Bill begins his first year as Celtic assistant coach this fall. Originally from Morningside, Bill not only graduated from Washington and Jefferson University, he coached volleyball and basketball there for two years. After completing his graduate degree at Duquesne University, he began teaching at Avella High School. |

Assistant Coach
Ken also enters his first year as assistant coach for the Celtics. Of Natrona Heights, Lessig played basketball at California State University of Pennsylvania before moving into coaching. He coached at Springdale, St. Joe’s and Burrell High Schools, and he’s excited to coach at the collegiate level for the first time!
